I’m so excited that fall is finally here! And with fall comes UGA Homecoming! I don’t think I could ever express how thankful I am for all the opportunities the University of Georgia has given me. I’ve participated in Homecoming every single year of college. Last year I was the Community Outreach Chair, and this year I get to oversee all of Homecoming Court.
The University of Georgia has also given me the Arch Society. Not only have I found many of my close friends through Arch, I’ve gotten to meet some of the smartest, most driven individuals of my age. I am constantly amazed by their curiosity, selflessness, and intellect. Below are a few photos from our dinner at the President’s house.
While I don’t really enjoy football, getting to work the games with the Arch Society is a thrill. I may not know who all the players are but I certainly love the Dawg Nation spirit!
Fall also means getting my grand little!
And who would I be if I didn’t mention something from Target’s current dollar spot section? Of course it was love at first sight with this Hocus Pocus inspired candle!
Now that the weather is finally cooling down (okay, so, it’s still mid to upper 70’s in Athens…we’ll just go ahead and count it as “cooling down”) I can drink tea throughout the day without being hot and sweaty on both the outside and the inside. I really like drinking Throat Coat tea when the Freshman Plague rolls around. I get sick easily, and it always ends up involving my throat, so this tea really helps decrease the inflammation and irritation caused by both allergies and sickness. Plus each tea bag comes with a little inspirational quote! How cute.
Last but certainly not least, I’m excited to finally be able to wear boots again. These are my current favorites: Lucky Brand black booties.
