I love Target. It is my happy place. I don’t always go to Target to window shop, but since coming to college wandering the aisles there seems easier and more accessible than anywhere else. Not to mention affordable.
Because it’s close to Christmas, I’ve been scouting all the options for potential gifts. I love people watching, as use that as a way to judge what styles are in fashion, what people love, and what colors are popular. I’m not usually the person that goes for the name brand stuff (except J. Crew…I’ll always love J. Crew), but a few items have recently caught my eye. And, fortunately, I found a few of those items on the racks at Target the other day.
Fossil’s Emma RFID Multifunction Mini Wallet $50
Target’s Women’s Small Zip-Around Wallet $10
I’ve had my eye on the Fossil wallet since summer and was over the moon to find a matching one in Target. The one I purchased is turquoise!
Anthropologie Indigo Rain Mug $24
Target’s Robert Gordon Indigo Brush Mugs, Set of Four $20
Kate Spade Poppy Fit and Flare Dress $448
Target’s Women’s Mesh Lace Fit & Flare Dress $28
While the lace elements are different, the dress shape and overall texture are very similar.
J. Crew Boy’s Ludlow Blazer in Velvet $140
Target’s Toddler Boys’ Velvet Blazer $18
Superga Velvet Grey Sneakers $119
Target’s Women’s Savannah Velvet Sneakers $20
Not exactly the same color, but personally I actually like the blue a lot better!
There are probably a lot more items from Target that are nearly identical to name brand clothes and accessories, I just haven’t seen them yet. Have you noticed any?
